Beefcake Cinema: The Other Red Meat

Who doesn’t like a healthy (or unhealthy) dose of testosterone with their cinema? This list was originally intended to chronicle that special period from the late 70s through the mid 90s in which action cinema was fast, sleazy, and fun. However, upon working on this, I came to realize that “beefcake cinema” has existed much longer and – to an extent – still does. The films aren’t all fast and/or sleazy but they’re certainly fun – and manly.

Also, they aren’t all “good” in the popular sense of the word. I list these as a reference, not necessarily as a recommendation. Have at it.
