It's 1983 and the Golden Age of gialli is over. Even so, Lamberto Bava, Dario Argento and a few others were struggling to keep the genre alive. Is A Blade in the Dark a milestone of the genre? No, of course but the movie is enjoyable even if we guess very soon who's the serial killer. Nonetheless, the last scene should stayed in the comment's book of the genre. Recommended.
This is literally the DUMBEST reactionary wannabe Argento shit ever but at least Argento's sexual politics are actually interesting and relatively progressive. And like, I LOOOOOVE Lamberto but this is unforgivable.
