A necessary, workman-like documentary told with clear-sighted anger. Made one long for the days when investigative journalists truly kicked against the pricks. My only misgiving was when thalidomide victims were talked over by parents or ossified by the camera's pitying gaze. But kids are just kids & don't experience their own selves as objects of pity. So, complex intersections of hideous malfeasance and ableism.
