Perfectly balanced film. The cast and acting, interesting characters, action elements, humour are all beautifully blended together, complemented by the soundtrack. This film has aged very well, after about 15 years hasn't lost anything out of its appeal, special effects play little role here, it's all about the gritty story, crazy characters and dark humour.
A significant step-up from the swag of Ritchie's 'Lock Stock'. Brad Pitt as a whimsical, Irish bare-knuckle boxing gypsy is a treat. Jason Statham's sardonic interplay is another highlight within a reputed ensemble. A sharp, post-modern and disturbing gangster comedy indeed.
