Our take

Winner of the 2015’s short film Palme d’Or, the Beirut-set Waves ’98 combines hand-drawn animation and photography to explore the contrasts of the city, and the tension between hope and disillusionment. Acclaimed and ambitious, forward-thinking cinema!
