[On 'Where Elephants Go', with Cătălin Rotaru] "Instead of allowing the audience to fully identify with the characters and get emotionally involved, we intend to bring them back to their senses through distancing techniques. However, we made sure that at the same time, every viewer can find themselves in one of the three characters. These marginal characters are each striving to claim the center of attention, just as each of us does in our own lives."
