A successful filmmaker deals with the current events of his life: his wife has just left him, his father has died, he is an alcoholic and desperately trying to finish a screenplay. While coping with all of this he meets a beautiful aspiring filmmaker who could disrupt it all.

A filmmaker’s personal life, memories and screenplay are interwoven into a scintillating, oneiric echo chamber in which Mexican history appears alongside the spectres of an existential and romantic crisis. An amusing meta-reflection which blurs the line between personal and national history.
