So easily the best of the trilogy, mainly due to Bruce Campbell at his peak, rather than anything heavier in the story. When I'm not jumping out of my skin I'm laughing my head off, which for someone not too interested in comedy in horror films, is a big thing!
A modern classic!
One of the greatest horror films ever made, there's so much slapstick and Three Stooges-type shenanigans thrown in that it's always a jolt back to reality when the blood starts spurting. Bruce Campbell's finest moment on film.
Really, a genius film.
Fantastic sequel/re-imagining that provides the perfect mix of horror and tongue in cheek humour. Full of iconic moments and dialogue that make one forgive just how thrifty many of the effects showcased are.
