REVOLUCIÓN

Revolución is a portmanteau film in which ten directors–including Carlos Reygadas, Rodrigo García, Fernando Eimbcke and Amat Escalante–look back in ten short films at the violent upheaval that was to bring dramatic changes to Mexico.

This omnibus film was directed by some of the most important figures in contemporary Mexican cinema—including Carlos Reygadas & Gael Garçía Bernal! Made on the centenary of the Mexican Revolution, Revolución is a powerful rumination on what the historical event means to each of the film’s directors.
