Carried by an all-female cast, this Paraguayan LGBT+ film is a complex portrayal of fading class prestige, with a splendidly textured atmosphere. Ana Brun enthralled critics and won an award in Berlin for her performance, in which the torment and thrill of newfound desire are highly palpable.
