Fang, a 30-year-old hospital guard in Shanghai, dreams of relic restoration. Hindered by limited opportunities, his passion wanes. His tiny flat overflows with books, straining his parents. A chance meeting with a friend and a film director rekindles hope, igniting a belief in fate.
