I noticed that textiles resemble cine film, so I had a great desire to watch a film made with textiles. I dyed cloth with the pattern of a film strip, drew pictures in all the frames on the cloth using a technique called ‘tsutsugaki’ and produced a ‘cloth film’. (Oki Kayako)
