Influencer Marketing Manager, Global

Reporting to: Director of Brand Marketing, Global

MUBI is a rapidly growing global streaming, distribution, and production company curating the world’s best cinema. We are seeking a creative and passionate marketing professional to join our team in New York.

In this position, you will manage MUBI’s global influencer marketing initiatives, planning and executing campaigns on major platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Podcasts, and more. Beyond running these global campaigns, the Influencer Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with our local marketing teams across the world to leverage influencers to promote local brand initiatives, as well as with our distribution team to promote our slate of new releases across theatrical and digital distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Scale and expand MUBI’s current influencer activity, setting goals and objectives to elevate the platform’s participation in the space
  • Identify and build sustained relationships with partner creators
  • Build, negotiate, and execute ongoing global influencer campaigns on YouTube, Instagram, Podcasts, and TikTok, promoting the MUBI brand and programming to global audiences
  • Advise and assist MUBI’s local marketing teams worldwide on their local influencer activity 
  • Plan influencer campaigns and events in collaboration with the distribution team to promote MUBI’s slate of exclusive theatrical and platform releases
  • Collaborate with MUBI’s in-house design team to produce artwork, trailers and other creatives assets to use across various influencer campaigns 
  • Liaise with the paid digital team to amplify reach and drive trials on the platform 
  • Lead performance reporting and analysis for global influencer activity

Who You Are

  • Passionate about quality cinema, from classics to new releases
  • Plugged into current social media trends and emerging social media partners/opportunities
  • Strong understanding of film communities and creators on major social platforms
  • Creative and enthusiastic, with a good head for marketing strategy
  • Capable of managing competing deadlines 
  • A keen project manager who can take ownership of working processes and find ways to improve them 
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about leveraging data and social listening tools to assess and maximize the performance of our campaigns
  • A strong copywriter and great communicator
  • Diligent and obsessed with the details
  • Dedicated to making every campaign the best it can be 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-7 years related experience with at least 2 years in influencer marketing
  • Film marketing experience strongly desirable
  • Additional languages are a bonus
