Marketing Manager, Colombia

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with marketing experience and a passion for film to join our team in Colombia and lead our Colombian marketing strategy and execution. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to build awareness and fuel subscriber growth in Colombia through partnerships, paid and organic social media, content-driven campaigns, and brand marketing.
  • Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Colombia, defining long term goals for growth in collaboration with MUBI’s Director of Marketing, LATAM
  • Identify and pursue relationships with optimal platforms, corporate partners, institutions and brands, as well as managing all existing CO-based partnerships 
  • Plan and execute campaigns to spur growth/customer acquisition 
  • Support and coordinate with the distribution team on film release campaigns
  • Coordinate with the core digital marketing team on digital campaigns
  • Work closely with the content team to promote MUBI’s programming and curation
  • Analyze and evaluate marketing activities to determine impact, monitoring and optimizing to constantly improve KPIs
  • Assist in local execution of global marketing campaigns including brand campaigns, content-specific campaigns, and seasonal promotions, and translating all copy from English to Spanish

  • Passionate about arthouse and independent film, and knowledgeable of the Colombian independent film sector with extensive contacts across the industry
  • Experience planning and executing traditional and digital marketing campaigns; stays up-to-date on trends in the digital marketing landscape 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, highly self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with lots of ideas, willing to look past easy answers to find the best solution to any problem
  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized 
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional counterparts 
  • A confident and effective communicator with strong writing skills
  • Analytics-driven mindset, with ability to determine appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly
  • Able to manage a budget and use resources efficiently and savvily
  • Experience managing small teams

  • Marketing professional with at least 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field
  • Knowledge of the film landscape as it relates to key publications and media
  • Fluent in English
Salary: Dependent on experience.
