1 is the loneliest number

With this list, I’m challenging myself to pick my #1 film for all of my favourite auteurs. Not a supremely difficult challenge, but there’s still some tough choices to make – especially when having to choose my personal favourite that might already be a poplar choice for a given director, when I’d sometimes rather champion a lesser know/regarded film that I also love. Maybe I’ll create a follow-up list of some unsung favourites.
