An Australian living in Sheffield for 6 months, I’m planning to watch 200 films I haven’t seen.

My ratings consider the genre of a film. Ice Age 3 and There Will Be Blood might get the same star, even though they are apples and oranges.

Not on Mubi:

Gun Fight (2011) – 3.5 stars – Great, clear film. Frustrating issue.
A Turtle’s Tale – 2 stars – Boring
Winnie the Poo – 2 stars – Ugh. But I’m not a fan so… he’s a lazy, greedy whinger in my books.
Ice Age 3 – 3 stars – Fab for what it is; made me laugh
Help! I’m A Fish – 2.5 stars – My toddler liked this one
Tabaluga & Leo: A Christmas Adventure – 2 stars – Only for kids
The Billboard from Bethlehem – 2.5 stars – Important but overwrought
Just Friends – Ryan Reynolds 2.5 stars. Absolutely everything else 1/2 star
Coach – the US ‘About A Boy’ without the wit – 2 stars
Ice Age 2 – 3 stars – Gotta love these
The Gruffalo – 4 stars – Surprisingly delightful
‘Le Bienvenida’ – 3 stars – Lovingly executed
‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ – Bit of materialistic fluff with heart – 3 stars (on the fluff-o-metre)
