2010, what I liked.

Toy Story 3 – The best movie of the year, when it came out. Most heart-wrenching, yet proper way to end a trilogy. I absolutely loved it. On that note, I don’t think Pixar has ever disappointed me.

Inception – Nolan’s best movie to me, Memento, was a hugely original piece, then Inception came out and kind of overtook it as Nolan’s “masterpiece” of writing. It’s not my favorite film by him or of the year, but it’s admittedly great. Just based on the idea, which Nolan wrote. Brilliance.
