2012 ranked

All films released to either movie theaters, home video, first-run television, streaming or film festivals in Norway between January 1 and December 31, 2012 are eligible for inclusion. The list follows the Norwegian release schedule, so films that opened in the US in previous years are still eligible if they meet one of the criteria listed above. Generally speaking, festival films included on previous year-long lists will not be included (regardless of Norwegian distribution deals), but exceptions may be made.
