Berlinale 2012, Ranked

Two weeks in Berlin zipped by. By the end of my first day I could pronounce ‘Straße’ properly, which helped a lot when asking Germans for directions (extremely friendly people, btw). By day three I realized I could never go back to eating North American bread again. European/German bread appears to have been planted by some super-intelligent alien species, because there’s no way in hell we mere earthlings came up with something that delicious with that much complexity (of all the things to praise, bread was my number-one game-changer, followed by the abundance of movie palaces all over the city).
