Best Trash of the '80s.

I’m not talking good films… I’m talking all that wonderful, ephemeral trash spiraling from the mid-eighties to early nineties. Think sheer datedness, and so-bad-it-has-become-good-over-the-intervening-decades.

The Breakfast Club and Desperately Seeking Susan are really a kind of first place tie… BC wins it because it spawned the love affair with the 80s.

NB: The Princess Bride (1987) isn’t included, because it isn’t trash at all. It has always been my favourite film and is thus too nostalgic to be touched.
