harold and maude
submarine
wristcutters: a love stroy
buffalo ’66
thumbsucker
the dangerous lives of alter boys
donnie darko

note-there may be a knee jerk aversion to dedication, starring mandy moore, but the film itself is very engaging and the characters believable.

notable soundtrack appearances/influences throughout the entirety of the film:

m.ward- the go-getter
elliott smith- thumbsucker
kevin sheilds- lost in translation
