COLONIAL VISIONS

A list of films built around the theme of colonialism across the third world and beyond. Some films more or less directly concern themselves with the problems of colonialism and neocolonialism. Others, however, I think provide a window into the psychology of privileged western perspective through their lack of self-consciousness, as with films such as Indiana Jones or King Kong.
