Here are the ten films that the great critic Dave Kehr selected as his ten favorites in the most recent Sight & Sound poll of 2012. Regarding his list, he writes, “All long-take, mise en scène movies, with the partial exception of Intolerance. Perhaps this is my knee-jerk reaction against the current mania for machine-gun editing.”
