21 edgar ulmer movies

While I’ve seen most of Edgar Ulmer’s films, I haven’t seen them all and some of those yet to be seen are probably essential viewing. I still haven’t seen his Yiddish films, Green Meadows, the Singing Blacksmith and the Light Ahead. Recently I had the rare chance to see his final film, the Cavern. I suspected that I would find the Wife of Monte Cristo pleasant to my taste and wasn’t disappointed. Some of his more popular films, such as the Strange Woman and Bluebeard, have pleased me less than the more obscure ones listed above them here, but even those have elements I admire.
