Favorite Films, 2012

In the attempt to list a top 10, best films seen in 2012, I’ve listed the contenders. 2012 is a pretty impressive year especially when looking at truly innovative and downright lovely, optimistic cinema. This seems at odds with the social climate and the fact that 2012 marks the last year that most distributers will be sending out prints in 35mm, but this general impression of the movies of 2012 does seem to corroborate this.
