Favourite books adapted, and literary related

Folks will more readily know me as Rob, the book sniffing self-proclaimed literary evangelist who hangs out at RobAroundBooks.com. Literature is my first love (cinema, along with art, comes in a close second), and consequently I’ve yet to find an adaptation of a book that I’ve particularly liked. Yet, adaptations exist and they keep existing, and curiosity drawn to them like a moth to a bulb (with the exception of Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, which I absolutely refuse to watch). I’m also drawn to any cinematic feature that has a literary slant to it, whether it’s a biopic, a documentary or some other incantation.
