A few films that have something (critical) to say about the changing landscape, cityscape, and daily lives as Japan further spurred its efforts to emerge an economic powerhouse. To the list, I would definitely include Tsuchimoto Noriaki’s documentary: The Road (Rojo) if it had been available in the database.
