Great English Films - The Best in the world!

English cinema at its best is fabbo! I shall add to this as I go on – feel free to suggest any extras. No rubbish please (by that I mean anything to do with that little twat Harry Potter). Sadly so many great British (ie English) are not available to be listed, eg It always rains on Sundays, Whisky Galore (OK that’s Scottish), and of course A Foreign Field, possibly the most under-rated film ever made..
