inspiration for novice filmmakers

I have tried to focus almost exclusively on low-budget films, whether relative to bigger pictures, or an a shoestring. I believe all the films chosen possess an ‘achievable’ quality, that one could make them soon into one’s adventures in filmmaking. This is not intended as a list of ‘best’ films, or ‘best’ examples of the cinematographic art, but that which can serve as inspirational examples of what can be accomplished with relatively uncomplicated straightforwardness.
