A great Master of contemporary Cinema, one of those I suddenly fell in love with.
He shoots those beautiful images and merges them with the most complex yet accurate studio soundscapes you’ll ever listen to… and then you’ll hear his voice speaking to you about History, Art or Philosophy. And what about the anamorphic lenses? How could I ever write anything about him forgetting to mention those unique, eye-candy, anamorphic close-ups! He is a gifted film-maker. One that is able to mix Andrei Tarkovsky’s feel and composition skills with David Lynch’s will to experiment and keep you locked into his visions and dreams.
