Journalists in Film

As a journalism student at King’s College, I love watching how journalism is portrayed in films and television. For the record, I’d have to say the 5th season of The Wire comes the closest in accuracy to a real newsroom. 1. All The President’s Men: One of my all-time favourite films. A terrific adaptation of a great book, even though I don’t exactly jive with Wormwood’s style. 2. State of Play: This one kind of crept up on me. 4. Citizen Kane: Emlyn kindly reminded me that I forgot this one last night. What a goof I am. This one doesn’t need any sort of introduction. One of the greatest films of all time.
5. Shattered Glass: Hayden “I was young Darth Vader” Christensen’s best performance. Check it out.
