Jumpcut Cafes Top 12 Indie Films of 2012

There were many great Indie and Foreign films we missed this year as we were so busy starting up this Cafe/ Micro-cinema experiment. These are an eclectic selection of some of the films that really stood out as being from the heart or pushing cinema in a new or unusual direction. We look forward to catching all the great films we missed and hope you check out some of these fascinating films soon.

One film that was not yet in the MUBI database but would absolutely be in the Top 5 is Jim Hemphill’s brilliant adult relationship drama The Trouble With the Truth which features two of the best performances of the year.
