Library Love!!!

I love the library. Always have. Feel free to fan this list if only to show your fellow library love!!! ;) Anyways, this is a list of DVDs the library has that I would like to watch (though I am sure there are many that I have either left off or just haven’t discovered yet). There is a bunch of stuff that they have that I know I should watch, most of Godard’s 60’s films for example, or The Searchers, and I will probably get around to those at some point, but listing canon is boring, so this list is more about the library providing the opportunity to see somewhat lesser known, non-canon films :)

I have more or less just copied these films from several of my handwritten lists (am I the only person that still hand-writes list? I love handwritten lists, they just seem so much more personal, especially if giving or receiving them :) Anyways, because of that, they are in no real order, though you might notice patterns, like where I would search out a particular director’s films, or where I searched for the Palme D’or winners they have.

Notes: Another one on my list is Bread and Roses, which is not on MUBI. That surprises me, being a Ken Loach film and being a Palme D’or nominee. Feel free to submit it If you like, mine don’t seem to go through :)
