Low's Canon

I’ve tried to create a top 100 list for another film site, but since it’s very hard I’m posting a longer list here. Not as bold perhaps, but why restrict it to just 100 films?
The list is presented chronological, because I felt it was impossible in any other way. Fritz Lang’s Die Nibelungen consists of both movies, same with Riefensthal’s Olympia. Stan Brakhage’s Dog Star Man is the whole cycle and Lars von Triers Riget is the complete original season from 1994.
