Initially, it was a fun way to get together with friends and fake guns, hang out, and have something cool to show our friends after it was all said and done. It was the feeling of creating something out of little scraps of ideas, which became shots, which became a story. Initially, it was a fun way to get together with friends and fake guns, hang out, and have something cool to show our friends after it was all said and done. It was the feeling of creating something out of little scraps of ideas, which became shots, which became a story. Although I feel I’ve come a long way from pretending to shoot my friends with fake guns, creating these alternate worlds with interesting stories filled with interesting people is something that captivates me to this day, and will continue to do so for a long time I’m sure. Filmmaking is also super cool because although it’s a lot of work, it’s always really fun.

When I first started out, everyone would show up on set and we wouldn’t even have a script. We’d pick a place to film, and made stuff up as we went along based on who all showed up and wanted to act/work camera/etc. Although I do somewhat miss this carefree approach to making little action videos, I do like knowing what I’m doing before I do it.
