I agree that Meryl Streep is one of the best actors of all time. I also think Hollywood completely failed her talent and that while Pacino got The Godfather and De Niro got Taxi Driver and Hoffman got The Graduate (and it’s arguable if those are even their best performances or best films), she was stuck in supporting roles. But my hope is as I explore her more obscure work I’ll find that one elusive title. A film where she’s the lead, the film is great, and she is great in it. But my hope is as I explore her more obscure work I’ll find that one elusive title. A film where she’s the lead, the film is great, and she is great in it.

Films ranked by quality overall, not by her performance (she’s the best part of a lot of these films, good and bad). My hope is by the end of this the cover image is actually of the actor herself.
