2012 films I’ve seen, ranked.

New this year, I am attempting to be more forgiving with release technicalities, such as “Beginners” appearing on my 2010 list as opposed to 2011 even though it could only have been seen at TIFF in 2010, hence drastically limiting its audience that year. Example: Haywire is, on my list, a 2012 film! Look at me being all progressive (not really the word I’m looking for, but y’know…).
