My Entry for The Auteurs Best of the Decade Poll

I’m surprised how heavily my list favours the United States, but this is what my top ten of the decade looks like. Personally, I don’t think it was even close to being one of the best decades in cinema history, but there were still some gems. I realize now that I spent much of the last few years catching up on cinema that I had missed from previous decades, missing out on much of what this past decade had to offer.
