My Favorite Films of 2004

This was a year in which I fell much more deeply in love with cinema than I ever had. The magic and creation of unique worlds in movies like Eternal Sunshine and Garden State and The Life Aquatic helped me realize the potential in films to really take you outside of your life and into a place full of moods that you’ve never felt. It was a brilliant and creative year for cinema and it sticks out to me over any other year that I’ve been alive. Here is a list of some of the reasons why.
