Movies I love

This isn’t a list of the greatest films of all time- I would never argue that Tombstone is a greater Western than Stagecoach, or that 2001: A Space Odyssey is less ambitious science fiction than Serenity. Rather, this list is comprised of films that I simply love. Some are childhood favorites that I think hold up particularly well upon revisit (the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), some were personal gateways into a more mature world of film as a teenager (here’s looking at you, There Will Be Blood), and some are ones I have come across and appreciated as an adult (Three Colors: Red, to name one).
