My favourite films of 2013

In 2013 I saw fewer films than I had in the previous three years. I don’t necessarily see this as a bad thing, as I was productive elsewhere. I still managed to see a total of 222, 75 of which were 2013 cinema releases (but shamefully only five were documentaries), with 21 visits to the cinema.
Compiling this list was fairly tough, namely because nothing really blew me away, though I did like dozens of films ‘quite’ a lot. So, this list is, as always, the films I enjoyed the most, am keen to revisit or purchase, and that stuck with me after the credits rolled.
