my favourite films of 2014

So, here we are again. This year I think I watched more TV series’ than ever before and calculated it to roughly 156 hours (I have way too much time on my hands). And as a result I saw fewer films than I have in the previous four years, but still managed to total up 189 in total, 92 of which were 2014 cinema releases, with 19 trips to the cinema! I also saw enough documentaries to warrant a separate list. The excitement. I missed all of the interesting foreign art house movies as I was too busy watching American kooky indie pictures. Never have I felt that much intensity in a cinema screening. Coupled with the heavy hangover I was carrying, I was completely drained. Overall, a fairly strong year, in my opinion. Anyway…
