My favourite films of al time (so far!)

This list stretches back to the late 70s, so it’s showing my age! I remember seeing my first films in the Odeon (?) cinema in Lewisham (South East London) when I was around 7 or 8 years old. Those cinemas are now long gone but my memories aren’t. I miss the days of truly great cinema and the anticipation building up to the films release.

Discovering the truly great classics, like Gone With The Wind, brought tears to my eyes (no, not through boredom!) and warmth to my heart for an epic journey through the archives.
