ABOUT THIS LIST
This list is of Pasifika cinematic works with a strong Pasifika theme, and inclusion of strong Pasifika characters. The directors and writers of the films are of both Pasifika and non-Pasifika descent. The cinematic works provide a window into the world of Pacific Peoples – Pasifika. Directors can be of Samoan, Fijian, Niuean, Tongan, Hawaiian, Tokelau and other Pacific cultures. The list does not include Maori (who are Pasifika also), as they are in a separate list.
