Promising Young American Actresses

Why not better roles for Thora Birch and Kat Dennings? Ghost World is a minor (key?) masterpiece…and Nick and Norah was a pale but enjoyable imitation of that movie. American Beauty was another good role for Birch, but then the list drops off in quantity (and especially quality). Dungeons and Dragons?!? I did, however, love Homeless To Harvard…even though it was a made-for-TV movie…(on the Lifetime channel, no less)…
