Richard Widmark

Richard Widmark’s favourites of his films were the two he made with John Ford – Two Rode Together and Cheyenne Autumn which don’t have pages here as of yet. I also like him in Saint Joan for his against type casting and his inspired comic caricature there. No page for that either. He was also good as Madigan which doesn’t have a page either. Not that I am complaining, I’m just thrilled a page for The Cobweb exists when it’s not out on DVD anywhere(unlike the other titles on top). I generally like Widmark when he’s playing complex characters and not as the cheap thugs in Kiss of Death and Night and...
