Truffaut’s muse and frequent collaborator of André Téchiné, Marie-France Pisier passed away on April 24, 2011 at the age of 66. She was found dead in her swimming pool. However, she had a great career and gave her all no matter how big or small her role in a film was.
Antoine et Colette (1962)
Baisers volés/Stolen Kisses (1968)
L’amour en fuite/Love on the Run (1979)
Le fantôme de la liberté/The Phantom of Liberty (1974)
Les soeurs Brontë /The Brontë Sisters (1979)
Chanel Solitaire (1981)
Céline et Julie vont en bateau – Phantom Ladies Over Paris /Celine and Julie Go Boating (1974)
Le temps retrouvé, d’après l’oeuvre de Marcel Proust /Time Regained (1999)
Dans Paris (2006) Note: Marie-France Pisier was really great, but the actual film was pretty lousy (to me).
