Several films are dismissed because of convoluted plots, crappy dialogue, poor acting and character development, among other things. Perhaps the viewers and critics missed the director’s point. So many films are amazing solely based on the craftsmanship of the director. It becomes clear to the audience that the director is just having fun with his job. This is too often criticized. The idea of “style over substance” is a joy to witness when it’s done right. Here are some films that do it right.
