Japans Bad boy…some may call sadistic, distasteful evil doer, whose films pose not only a threat to the young and impressionable but also to the reputation of japans contemporary cinema…Others claim “the greatest director of today” (Tarantino)…Are some of his films just a celebration of the macabre, or are they extensive, unique masterpieces which deserve exploration…I think both.
