Ten favorite lynch films

This particular group of films and videos are placed in preferential order, but the order isn’t rigid. There’ve been times when DUNE was my very favorite not only of Lynch’s work but of any ever made. Same could be said of Fire Walk with Me. The only films of Lynch’s that I don’t particularly like are Wild at Heart and the Cowboy and the Frenchman, and even those have good, perhaps great, elements. I haven’t seen all of the short videos, but I have watched all of the shorts shot on film. The only films of Lynch’s that I don’t particularly like are Wild at Heart and the Cowboy and the Frenchman, and even those have good, perhaps great, elements. The Grandmother should probably be placed higher on the list, especially as it is so well reflected through the rest of his work. It’s one of those early works an artist makes that opens a strong line of enquiry and is mined for many years. It should be noted that Hotel Room is included only for the episode named Black Out.
